New ways to track, sync, and understand your gut in Balloon
The biggest update is the new Analysis tab! You can now view your poop logs alongside things like fiber intake, daily steps, and mood - all in one place. It’s a much easier way to spot patterns and understand what’s helping (or hurting) your gut.
You can now track your mood in Balloon (if you’re on iOS 18+)! It syncs directly with Apple Health, so your mood logs stay up to date whether you log them in Balloon or elsewhere. I tried to make it feel just like the Apple Health experience, but with a Balloon touch 🎈
If you ever wondered whether you forgot to log or just didn’t poop that day, you can now mark a “no poop” day. It helps you keep up the habit and make your logs complete.
Balloon now integrates with Apple Health - you can already see your steps and mood right in the app. And this is just the start! I will keep expanding the sync to include things like fiber, symptoms, and your cycle, so Balloon can show a complete picture of your gut health!
You can also upload poop photos directly in Balloon now, so you don’t have to keep them in your camera roll. And don’t worry - I added a built-in blur so you won’t be caught off guard if someone else sees your screen. 😅
One of the most requested features is finally here: you can now edit your past poop logs!
And if you're on a specific diet, you can now set your diet preferences in your profile. Our AI will take that into account when analyzing your meals, so you don’t have to repeat it every time.
